It's Already Part of You

A series of soft sonic-sculptures that play the sound of human breath by feeling each other's weight on the theme of human relationships in everyday life.

During the 2024 spring semester in my graduate school, tensions and arguments arose among students over the department's handling of wars currently happening. During this process, while I witnessed conflicts and broken friendships due to differences in ideology, I also witnessed situations where people eventually came to understand each other and reconciled through physical contact. This experience deepened my interest in how people with different ideologies build and repair relationships. In my thesis project, I hope to visually and sensually express the process of understanding that transcends language and the subtleties of emotion that arise in this process.
