About this work
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the opportunity for an in-person exhibition was lost, leading to participation in an online exhibition instead. The goal was to recreate the experience of a physical space, where spectators can visually engage with installation art from any angle, a full 360 degrees. To achieve this, GLTF files were used, allowing a 3D model to be viewed from any angle on a flat screen simply by moving the cursor up, down, left, or right.
However, since spectators could only engage with the work visually, the theme could not be fully realized. This left an open question: in an online space where direct physical interaction with the work is impossible, what forms of expression would allow for deeper access to the emotions of the spectator?
